The Missing Ingredient: You
Knowing about money isn’t the same as knowing your money because it leaves out the biggest player in the game -you. There’s no spreadsheet out there buying coffee and boba or planning its summer job. That’s you. Which means understanding what actually matters to you — So let's start there.
-
Personal finance is not about numbers on a page. It’s about using the tools that are out there to protect and pursue what’s important to you.
It’s about what you do, not just what you know. Your habits, thoughts, feelings, and routines all combine to create your true priorities. The ones you live every day. Why not be intentional about how those are shaped? - Make sure you agree with you.
-
Your best interests are our only agenda. No recurring subscriptions or buy-now-pay-later options. No selling you financial products or selling your personal information to companies that will use it to target you later.
It’s about the f-word: fiduciary. Upholding a fiduciary standard means our only motivation is what’s best for you.
-
If personal finance is not your thing, Cashtoons is for you. Practicing how to money doesn't have to be like taking your medicine.
The challenge isn't finding more financial information — it's finding the right guidance at the right time. That’s what Cashtoons tutoring is about.
-
You face a financial landscape that didn't exist a generation ago — gig income, buy-now-pay-later traps, rising costs of living, and advice that keeps referencing a world that no longer applies.
Cashtoons tutoring meets you where you are, with all your real life challenges and opportunities.
It’s your financial life.
Shouldn’t you be the one in the cockpit?
Your thoughts and feelings impact your finances - that’s not a bad or a good thing; it’s just the truth of human behavior. Money stuff happens: spending, earning, saving, etc. The key is to be the one making the decisions behind your financial actions or inactions. To make sure a decision is actually being made - not just stuff happening. The car is moving, make sure there’s someone in the driver’s seat.
How do you take the wheel?
Knowing your money starts with knowing yourself - all the different versions of you (happy, hungry, tired, excited, worried, stressed) and what drives the things you do - The why behind your finances. You might do all the same things, but you will have made the decisions. You’ll be the one in the driver’s seat, not the unchecked thoughts, fears, or impulses of the moment. This isn’t a teen thing. This is an everybody thing. The only difference - you can be in control from the start.
